Name is Greg , reside in co limerick , we have two MINis in the family , my better half Jean has a 08 clubman r55 cooper auto in British racing green & my self 06 r50 cooper auto in astro black . Both cars are bog std .

Hi Greg welcome to the forum! I had an r50 before and I now also have an r55 clubby so I know how much fun those cars are! No such thing as a bog standard mini, they are all more stylish than anything else on the road and this way you can make mods yourself! Any pics of your minis?

thanks for the very warm welcome , i am sorry, when i said bog std , what i should have said is the cars have not been modded. i was in co cork early this morning with Ger & Aiden getting the oil in the R50 auto box changed . what can i say, only that they are a pleasure to do business with .

Welcome to the forum
The R53 is a brilliant car for a few modifications that make a huge difference to the driveability of the car.
Reduced supercharger pulley and a custom remap and bigger brakes transforms it.
Talk to Ger, Irlmin on here who runs a MINI Specialist garage in Cork.
