Great car the Corolla. A fine "get you from A to B" vehicle. Excellent when you don't need extra excitement in your life.

Hope Bluey is back on his wheels soon Ferg!

Cheers Adrian ;)
My car will feel like an F1 car when I get it back compared to the Corolla.

So a bit of an update on my MINI.
Its back and absolutely fabulous :)

New valves, New piston rings, New later type rocker cover with better breathers, New water pump pulley as it had started to self destruct. Engine is so smooth now and idles spot on.
You can feel the power waiting to be unleashed :)
Fair bit of running in to go yet as I only have about 200 kms on it so far and I want 1000 kms on it before I can let her fly !

I also got the gearbox oil changed, MINI say this is a 'lifetime product' which it isn't.
New brake discs and pads all round, drilled and grooved on the front and new brake fluid too.
I also got the heater matrix replaced as it was leaking.

I was replacing the bonnet stripes with new ones yesterday and after removing the old ones I decided against fitting any, I think it looks much better without them.

Very very happy Ferg :)
