retrofit instruments

hi guys...just wondering about changing the instruments in the dash of my R53. what im looking to do is put the twin OE instruments over the steering and replace the centre speedo with the OE multi gauge clock. thanks in advance

It's very easy to put the twin binnacle over the steering wheel, it's pre-wired for it, all you need to do is buy one and plug it in. The chronograph pack in the middle isn't as easy if I remember correctly, it has oil pressure and oil temperature in there which require additional sensors fitted to the engine.

What's great fun is if you could get hold of Australian instruments and have your car recoded to take them. The speedo goes above the steering wheel, and the rev counter goes where the speedo normally is - you end up with a huge rev counter. For a short while in the Irish market, you could chose to have that setup, but it was quickly discontinued.

thanks owen, car just gone to the garage with the following parts
chrono centre clock
twin column clocks in KPM
aux gauges that go between the down pipes
JCWs carbon fibre dash
HK speakers surrounds
carvon motorsport stubby ariel and red tow eye
ps owen the centre chrono clock runs of the ECU so the instrument in it may not be so acturate
