Great looking 'S' Bart!
Welcome to the forum :)

Ger, Irlmin on here, has a MINI and Mini specialist garage here in Cork.
He has all the proper diagnostic gear up to dealer lever and has just recently also got re-mapping gear! :) so if you would like a reduced pulley, 15% , and a re-map you will be looking at 210bhp :) :) :)
Give him a shout sure as he'll be able to help you ;)

Welcome Bart!
Electric is such a great colour.
Hope she's enjoying it.

Love those number plates. They are a nice touch.

Have you ever had hassle over the plates?
I like the look of irish plates done with the German font, but you've gone the whole hog there!

Fair play, ye are obviously both serious car enthusiasts to be doing so many jobs to get it back as good as new - Miriam is always saying if she found a wad of cash somewhere her MINI would be going for a full respray as well.
Is it spots you're wondering about (seeing as you have the xenons)? Mir's has the white(ish) Hella FF200's which might match in well to your colours there? Although the MINI factory style lights do sit a little bit better I think. I might have to rejig Mir's lights to see if I can get them lower and a bit closer to the grille.

Be very careful where you take it for a windscreen replacement - some of them are total apes and will break the plastic A pillar cover. (I think you may end up having to get a new foam bit for underneath it anyway) The seals and trim can also suffer at the hands of these guys.

hi... no majar issue with the plates but there are a bit full on ;) im driving the train really on this,it is a really straight car i just need to tidy it up but i can get carried away :) :) on the lighting i was more thinking changing the rears or fog and rings in the front park lights and on the windscreen front will push for a OEM at a dealer so if anything damaged his problem. thanks for the warning :) :) and just for you something to bore you with http://www.bmw-driver.net/forum/showthread.php?t=14879

The R53 is a great car that will stand the test of time in terms of looks/handling and just pure fun. Real cult classic stuff.
Would like to pick one up myself, but not at the moment. Not too many black/whiteones around tho.
