Photo Competition

Postby minipete » Mon May 23, 2011 5:47 pm

Well lads we have another photo competition and this time round again the prizes are really good, so get your photos submitted on miniclub.ie, Thanks to Patrick at The Canvas Works Kinsale and Michelle at Kearys Mini Little Island we have a large canvas print of the winning Photo as a 1st prize. The photographs will be judged by Ger O’Leary and Myself. Closing Date is Monday June 30th, Good Luck to all entrants !

Just a few rules .
1------ You must have taken the Photo yourself
2------ The mini or MINI or derivitive must be a feature in the Photo
3 ----- Club event Photos are acceptable
4 ----- Interesting or clever captions may get you extra points

As the award will be presented at the Kearys Mini showroom Little Island, We will also need a hi-res version of the Winners Photo to allow the "Canvas Works" to have the print processed.

How do you submit photo? Should they be a particular size, jpeg or tiff file? Can they be photoshopped or not? What if 'winner' won't be in Kearys? Cheers!

You can upload the photo on this thread, it doesn't matter what size. JPEG file and they cannot be photoshopped, The winner will be contacted to send in a high res. photo by email, it doesn't matter if the winner isn't there, we can courier to anywhere in ireland and england.

So after finding and charging the battery for my camera, it still wouldn't turn on :( So I bought a new camera!!! :D I need to clean the car. Actually no, not the car, just the white wheels. They get dirty so quickly. Before taking some shots.

No pressure, it's only a Nikon Coolpix S2550 - the one that has been on the Currys/PC world adverts for 90€, its about 60€ off the normal price so went for that.

It's so good there doesn't seem to be any reviews online at all! But I tested it against the others in that price range in the shop and it autofocused the fastest so that and the offer cinched the deal.

Ok, so had a 170ish mile trip round southern Ireland to take some pics with the camera. I have had an right blast, when I wasn't stuck behind someone driving at 60kph. I do wish my mini had air conditioning though. I think it was the hottest day in Ireland so far this year!

I will upload the one I like the best when I have had a good look at them :)
