Got my renewal for my R53 Cooper S for €383 fully comp & breakdown cover after a small bit of haggling from AXA today

I dont own a classic mini but i was quoted my insurance was €435 with 123.ie, and i went to AXA looking to bring it down a bit and they quoted me higher. There is some sort of myth going around that AXA are cheap but maybe it depends on the individual. I then tried Aviva who have a history of being expensive, told them AXA quoted me €400 and low and behold in got my insurance with them for €375. You just need to ring around, get some quotes and play them all against eachother. You may loose something completely unuseful on your policy but personally i dont want to drive my partners Fiat 500 anyway haha.

Got my renewal from AXA today for my R56 Cooper S.
Very happy with it.
€328.25 Fully Comprehensive.
Down about €60 on last year.
