Rear GP

Hi guys, haven't being on in a while. A lot of mini stuff going on in fact the whole summer, anyway had cam failure on the orginal engine and that end that but like all these things you can find the silver lining on that note I got a tap on the rear on Monday which cracked my rear R53 AERO bumper I hope that's all, I think it's a NLA part, i was never a huge fan of the aero rear so my taughts are to GP it, so after all that my question is will the core S bumper work with OE GP trim parts? On REALOEM it shows 2 different part nos for the bumper . Cheers guys

Hi Bart,

Yes. The standard S R53 rear bumper will take all the GP parts no problem.
I did exactly that on my last MINI.

Only difference is you have to drill a few holes for the silver grill inserts to fit.

Cheers Fergal I had a fair idea it would work, if anybody has a good S bumper I will take it to save the 3rd parties costs
I will throw up a few details on the rebuild all I will say for now is THUMPER 264Bhp
