If the car is more than 20 years old you should be able to get classic insurance even though it's modified. It's a Mini with a 1.6 or 2.0 litre engine. Classic car insurance is reasonably relaxed.....

Thought classic insurance was 30 years? My mini's turning 20 this year... Sweet!!
