Hello

New MINI driver here got an r56 one, in white with stripes, fairly basic model really, but I'm just dipping my toes in the water first, loving the fun drive. From Bishopston in Cork, can't figure how I'm gonna get my beast sized golden retriever in the back, hope to join the owners club soon

Hey
I'm on the way to pick up my first MINI, it's an R56 pepper white Cooper S. I have been a fan for a long time and finally getting in the drivers seat today.

I'm based in Cork and would love to help out on the Hospital run tomorrow (and I can pay the membership fee in person).

I have had a very colourful car history owning everything from a 65 Wizard roadster Beetle to an Evo IV with lots in between. I enjoy the enthusiast scene and look forward to getting to know you all.

Hi,
Another Cork based member here. I learned to drive in my first car, a 1976 Mini 850 many moons ago which ended up with a 1,300cc Metro engine by the time I was finished with it. Now, years later I had the opportunity to get a 2004 Mini Cooper S as a [s]second[/s] third car, so delighted with it! Some of you might recognise my username from some of the BMW forums, my other cars are 2007 BMW M6 (507bhp) and a 1996 320i vert.

I've been tipping away at some cosmetic and service items and I've made great progress in the last 3 weeks of ownership. However I need someone to do my front control arm bushes as my removal tool is not the right size. I'm also interested in hearing about people's experience with the 15% reduced size super charger pulley. How much? Who fitted it? How does it impact the longevity of the car? Is the extra power noticeable?

Looking forward to getting involved!

Hi, my name is Imany and I'm a newbie here.
I'm going to become an owner of MINI and the thing is to upgrade it a little bit to preserve the stylish look and good performance.
Nice to meet you all!

Hi all!

Signed up for this forum yonks ago and totally forgot it existed, never realised there was such a MINI following, especially here in Cork! Gonna start a thread over in the project section for my r56 fJCW!
Hopefully will get to some events with it too this year!

All the best,
Brian
