Our resident Farmer / Zoo keeper Alvin should have something wandering around His gaff ( I know He has a Horse , 3 Hens , 2 dogs , 2 Golfdfish , some cats ), Fergal swears he saw a Goat out there as well , if the Dogs haven't eaten them yet , seriously though I will ask around .

Try the CSPCA Starry, there's lots of animals there that would be put down otherwise, give them a second change!

http://www.cspca.ie

Unfortunately, it's near your favourite spot in Cork - The tunnel, but they've a very worthy institution, and I'd recommend you try them first.

Hopefully they will, we have one cat and a dog at home already, we did have another cat but he was killed on the road on 11th Nov gone, he used to be the leader, they are kind of lost without him.

Hopefully the introduction of a new pet will make everyone happy again.

Hey Starry,

If you can travel as far as Rathfarnham, the DSPCA always have a great selection of animals! That's were I adopted my little Mitsey last year. They spade her, and she was fully vaccanated (I can't spell!!!), and she had a lot of tlc (!)

The staff were very helpful, and I had to be totally vetted before the rehoming procedure completed! She didn't much like the trip up to Balbriggan, but she is now very happy living by the sea, with her guinea pig sisters! (Will post a pick of 'The Girls' at some later date!!!)

Hi DerFinn,

I did contact them, however they will not rehome a Kitten with me because of the distance I live outside Dublin, this is the story I got from most places in Dublin that rehome cats, thanks for the reply though. :) I'll just keep on searching.

Ha ha ha !!!

There is a great irony to that statement Gerard! When I lived in Waterford for the first time (1990-1993) the Chinese restaurant business was the most sucessful resturant genre at the time.

That change the second time around (1998-2000)!
