Mini Shell wanted

I'm looking for a Mini Shell for an ambitious project, the details of which I'll reveal later on. Only prob is it needs to be cheap. I went looking at a 78 shell during the week the owner described as good. I'd describe it as a sieve. He was looking for only a small few hundred Euro, and honestly that's all I can afford at the moment.
