Wanted:iPhone/iPod armrest adapter

I am on the lookout for a cheap Music/Media capable snap in adapter for the R56 armrest. Phone version is not too important just that it can enable music playback through the car.

I am pondering about getting one into the clubby in the summer, I have a 4s and currently using the aux in for music.

Can you then use the mfsw to control the phone?

Yes that is right, and you also still have the USB port for thumb drives as well.

You need to get one that is Music or media though, as basic versions just power the phone and allow calls, not music.

I am planning something that will allow bluetooth streaming through this snap-in as well.

I already have the phone connected via Bluetooth, it's working for phone calls but can I use it to stream music?

Nope afraid not, the facelift cars I think but not the pre- like ours. Leave it with me for a couple of weeks while I experiment!
