JCW Works seats are the best , no side airbag though ,some of the Lads here have them , Tim , John Lynch ,

Agreed ,I forgot about those , deffo the best for R50/53 . they can be bought from dealer or directly from Recaro .

JCW's for comford and looks nothing holds you in so well

Just waiting on a price for these from a guy up here, but if its not right I'll be getting them off e-bay from recaro shop.

The 1st ones are the Recaro's that were optional on the R50/52/53 from about 05 the 2nd link is to the Recaro CS which is the R56 option and has a side airbag . not sure if you can retrofit the CS's and make the airbag 'active' .both really good seats though

I'm not sure about the airbag, its an option anyway, I'll have to ask Owen. Good time to get them in from the uk. About E200 cheaper than getting them from mini
