That the thing about not having a spare. I take it the hole was in the sidewall, so even if you had a runflat you'd still need the truck. In saying that the side walls of the runflat would be tougher.
can't see that happening to me, I always hand wash the car. Those brushes can damage the paint on the car and never do a great job anyway.

Changed my mind on the choice of run-flat replacements and ordered a set of Hankook Ventus Sport K104's tonight for my R56

Egon is sh*t hot, and very friendly to boot. Recommend him to everyone to be honest! He'll be doing my 16's and 18's as soon as the band starts playing again and I have disposable income to spend on shoes for the baby.

Tyres are on the way 8)
Can't wait to get them on the R56. The Runflats have gone very poor :(

I got my new Falken tyres fitted today in EPT Tyres in Ballincollig.
Egon had them on in no time...except for all the curseing when he was trying to get the Runflats off the Alloys!!
First impressions are excellent.
Have to do a good bit of mileage on them to bed them in but already the Comfort level is AMAZING!!!
No jarring going over small cracks in the road, bumps etc.
Couldn't believe how quiet it is now in the car.....Savage road noise off the runflats!
I can actually hear the lovely engine note of the Cooper now and really enjoy driving my R56 now.
Really looking forward to them being run in and see what the handling is like.
So people....Ditch those Runflats!!!
