Alloy Wheel Restoration

Postby Owen » Sat Jun 17, 2006 3:49 pm

If anyone has been misfortunate enough to kerb or buckle an alloy, Martin Buckley (A Club member) from ITS Engineering in Midleton can restore it to pristine condition. His number is (021) - 4632 000.

He's as sound as they come!

There are actually a couple of places near Lisburn do Refurb work - Out on the Moira road Lister or Lester Engineering - summat like that. I'll find out properly and post it up for the Northern contingent.

Yeh, I've heard of them - are they any good?

Was gonna go to Nu Luk in Carrick because a lot of the big garages use them but it's a bit of a trek :(

Guy in work got his refurbed, all had been kerbed, and they also refnished them in black. Looked like new but they weren't cheap as far as I remember.

I can recommend Nu-Luk for wheel refurb in the North... They invested a serious amount of money in the kit they use and did a set of BMW BBS split rims for me a few years ago... top job and a sound bunch of guys. Jason Pollock is the main guy there to speak to and he can normally give a bit of discount ;)
