Garmin.com - they'll send you a free DVD with the updates, and then you give them 75 Euros for an unlock code. Its the least expensive way of doing it.

I got mine in the post yesterday , all I had to do was reply to an e-mail I
got from Garmin this included submitting serial numbers etc, I have my
unlock code from the last up-date and assume it will work the same
way. Only lesson learned from last up-garde is I had to get a new 2gb
SD card.

So you download to the sd card and not the unit?

Yes Ken,
I loaded the CD onto my computer and saved it , then transfered it onto
the sd card using the card reader yoke. I haven't loaded the latest CD
but will let you know who I get on when I do.

I've got a Garmin i3 and it's currently running V9 mapping. Has much changed with the new upgrade that is now available?

Is it worth the money?

My Update disc arrived last week , just stuck it in the Mac and followed the prompts , the 'product key' was on a sticker on the disc case , no €€€ changed hands .

Only think is I've already done this for the update from V8 to V9?

I'll give it a try and see how I get on!

Is it any good Ger? How detailed is it?

I received the disk today but unfortunately when I tried to upload it I was asked for a unlock code!

When I tried on line to unlock the disk it requested $75…

Anyone any “suggestions”?

"Suggestions", unfortunately no. I searched, intensively, for a keygen for Garmin products, and one doesn't exist. They're very secure indeed. 75 bucks seems to be the only option.
