i currently have the completely original shock absorbers i think in my mini....what type of suspesion or set up should i be looking at to improve this?? cheers guys

We supply and fit the 'Moulton smooth ride' suspension set-up and it transforms the ride , much smoother even on our Irish roads , several of the owners using this post here and I am sure someone will give you 1st hand info .

Moulton smooth ride kit is the only way to go for sure. Got mine added by Ger above. Completely transformed my cooper, takes nothing from the fun of the drive but really prevents you from getting those nasty bumps that cause your head to be implanted in the roof. And with third world roads like ours, its seems insane not have it.

Its a 'kit' developed by Sir Alex Moulton ( the designer of the Mini suspension back in 59 ) and its designed to remove the harshness from the Mini , its 4 replacement rubber suspension 'cones' , 4 shock absorbers valved to suit , 4 'hi-lo adjustable suspension units enabling you to adjust the ride height , the kit will really transform the car . We have fitted lots of these and every owner has been happy with the result .
