I normally clip out the right hand panel, relieve some of the plastic lip, run the cable through the relieved section, replace the panel, and there it is. I normally cut the carpet too parallel to the CD Changer, about half an inch in front of it, like they do in the factory to allow access to the repair kit storage area.

8O ........ .........Just slipped the wires under the right hand panel, plugged it in........screwed in the changer..........and thats about it....
Did'nt cut the carpet. You can pull it up enough to get at repair kit.
Hope it's okay now.......you have me worried 8O
Fergal.

Don't worry Ferg thats what insurance is for

Insurance,whats that?

As an example . in the unlikley event that You were driving down a narrow road in say a BMW 1 series and lets say for example You were taking a lefthanded corner and lets say that a ditch came out on the road and hit the front of the said 1 series BMW and lets say that the ditch won the battle then insurance is what pays for the ditch to repair your 1 series BMW . all of this is based on supposition and rumor of course and no ditches were injured in the making of this supposition . the 1 series was not so fortunate , right Alvin now do you understand what this insurance thing is about ?

I have a plan -- Deny everything , say Margaret was driving it , I'll tell no one . Why let the truth get in the way of a good story .
