This is going to seem like a stupid question which every MINI owner should know but its being bugging me..
What determines whether my mini is R52 R53 etc????
Mine is a 04 Cooper S considering this is my 3rd MINI you woud think id know....
Please put my mind at ease..

The model numbers are:
R50 - 1st Gen MINI One and Cooper
R52 - 1st Gen carbios
R53 - 1st Gen S
R55 - Clubman
R56 - 2nd Gen hatch
R57 - 2nd Gen cabrios
I think that's it isn't it????

Sure, he's making it up Derek. MINI would never make a 4x4 or a couple or a roadster. That'd be madness!
Unless Owen has some proof he can drive along to the party I'll not believe a word of it...
