Hey lads is the built in bracket for the garmin sat nav still available and how hard is it to fit

Yes Rob its still available , it is relatively easy to fit if you have a bit of experience with electrics , instructions are available so I think you would manage it without too much trouble , very worthwhile mod though .

I have it my S Rob and it's great
It will only fit the 300 series NON widescreen Nuvi's as far as I know.

I have a 310 so it should be alright.i think there are other ones available though for different models

The 310 will be fine. Its easy to make a bracket too. I made one for the R53, which uses the old windscreen mount bonded on to a no-holes-mount from NewMINIstuff. I then just put the cigarette lighter charger guts into an enclosure from maplins (About 3 euro), and wired that to the ignition sense wire on my radio. Turn the ignition on, satnav boots, turn it off, satnav powers down. Total cost about 23 Euro.
