My mechnic reckons a catalytic converter and a re-test will do the job. If anyone knows where i can get one let me know 
He reckons a new one would be best but a good used one might do the trick if i cant get a new one?Thanks in advance,

Catalytic converter needed

As i mentioned in a previous post, the previous owner of my Mini removed the catalytic converter and I kinda need one now as I've just failed NCT on emissions My mechnic reckons a catalytic converter and a re-test will do the job. If anyone knows where i can get one let me know He reckons a new one would be best but a good used one might do the trick if i cant get a new one?

hi Oisin,
Your best best here would be the internet there are various cat cleaners now on the market and also after market cats, but having said that... Ger will be best to advise you here .....no doubt he will be on soon.
