Hi and welcome to the site , its unfortunate your mini has decided to act up just a few days into your ownership , but don't worry you have several options , 1 just have the pipe welded back on if the 'flexi' bit is intact . 2 have a new 'flexi ' bit welded in , 3 fit a new front pipe which includes the flexi bit . 4 fit a Maniflow performance LCB manifold and link pipe . PM me if you need a flexi , front pipe of LCB we can supply all of above . your local exhaust supplier should have no problem getting the flexi and front pipe as well .btw its a very common problem .

Exhausts, yeah, common problem with our little minis..

Steering wheel alignment is only a small thing.. If the steering wheel isn't the original one, there's a chance the person that put it on didn't line it up 100% (As it's 'only' bolted on with one bolt underneath that rubber 'thing' in the middle of the steering wheel)

If you're mechanically inclined, and have the tools to do so, it's a quick job to 'unbolt' the steering wheel, (make sure not to break your chin when pulling the steering wheel off though!!!!) move it slightly, and bolt it back on ..

Alternatively, you could take it to your mechanic, who can align the wheels (if they're wonky), and as he/she's at it they can line up your steering wheel too. - Certainly only a small job/issue.

Speaking of 13x7.. You'll have a mighty pair of arms on ya in another few months.. You'll be like yerman in the Guinness ad's of old.. !!! ;)

Vroom Vroom !!

"If you're mechanically inclined, and have the tools to do so, it's a quick job to 'unbolt' the steering wheel,"

You'll need the right socket for this, it is either a 31mm or a 33mm one (Have one at home but cannot remember which it needs)

To avoid chin-bashing do not remove the nut entirely, leave it on a couple of threads so you can give the wheel a good tug without injuring yourself!
