Halo Indicator Wanted

Postby Alan » Sat Apr 30, 2011 10:37 am

Hi,

My front drivers side halo indicator isn't working. Well the indicator is but the halo bit isn't. Does the whole unit need to be replaced or is there a bulb for the halo bit?

Anyone got one for sale and how much?

This looks like it

Many thanks,

Hi Alan,
It's a bulb gone for the halo. It's just a W5 led bulb. Cheap as chips on eBay etc but get a set, two in each halo so 4 in a set.
Just thinking....it might be a bad connection where the halo light wires join to the MINI wires. They get a lot of water and crap thrown at them in that area so check and clean the connections and try them as this happened me before.
Hope this helps ;)

Yes that's them Alan ;)
Some are a bit blue than other's and some are more white so that's why I recommend replacing the 4 because then they'll all match up ;)
Also just make sure it's not just a bad connection in that part of the wiring loom from the led bulbs to the MINI wiring as it is very common.
