air flow meter for 07 mini one

hey,

I'm looking a garage to go to to get this problem fixed, preferably someone who knows mini's. i have been quoted €400 for fixing this problem and hope i can get it done cheaper than this. I do not want to take it back to the garage that i bought it in as i had problems with them, involving the warranty around the time i bought the car.

has anyone any suggestions or advice???

We can help I am sure , We run a specialist mini and MINI workshop in Cork and have customers all over Ireland we use diagnostic equipment to main dealer level , why do you think its the airflow meter? what are the symptoms You can call me on 086 8663828 .

Hi Gerard,
the person i got the quote from connected to the on board computer as the engine management light was on (a problem i've had too many times in the past) and it came up as being the air flow meter.
i will contact you this week as the NCT is due soon.
