Hey guys, the steering wheel material of my 03 cooper is badly worn with pieces constantly falling off. I think whoever had it last wore a lot of rings that wore away the wheel surround material as they steered, there is a lot of wear on the gearknob too
. Any idea of how much a new steering wheel surround is? Is it a big job to fit? Its pretty unsightly

Best bet is to pick up a second hand good replacement steering wheel on eBay
I have a steering wheel fetish....LOL
I always replace the steering wheel for a better newer one on my cars
I picked up a new two tone replacement Park Lane special edition MINI leather one for about £80.

I fitted it myself actually. Once you know what you're doing it's not a hard job but Ger would fit it no problem for you.
