what type welder should i get

hi i got my mini boot need wee bit welding going jack it up at weekend see what else needs done but shell good shape to 1982 yipee

I would think a MIG welder would be the best thing, but unless you know how to use it properly and safely you will just make a mess at best, worst blind yourself.
Having said that, it's not hard to be OK at MIG welding. If you are going to get one and use it, get some sheet metal to practice first.
