My Cooper S has a thirst for oil however i find it bloody impossible to read the dip stick. Anyone have any tips on how to do this?
I usually top up by a bit when i get a low oil pressure alarm on a fast corner but last time i checked it looked like it was half way between the markers!
Where could one get a replacement (easy to read) dip stick?

Cravenspeed do one, google it. It's supposed to be better. Best thing is to take a reading first thing in the morning before you start the car. Wipe it properly, then dip it and check.

Will try that when i get to the car this evening. I always thought it was best to run the car for a few minutes first though.
