Have my eye on a set of new alloy wheels for my R53. I could browse forums for hours trying to get the exact dimensions required but can anybody tell me from experience who has changed their alloy wheels if these sizes sound suitable?

Hi Niall,
Yes that's all good there and should give you enough space for a BBK(big brake kit) too

Watch the weight of the wheels !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! , some aftermarket MINI wheels and indeed some OE wheels are seriously heavy and thats 'unsprung' weight and that is NOT good . there is an online wheel weight guide available a quick google should find it for you .
