GP brake pads

Anyone on here with a GP ?

Mine needs new brake pads and I'd planned to put Mintex 1144 on it but, as seems to be the norm for Mintex 1144 pads I'll be waiting ... and waiting ... and waiting so it's time to go for something else.

What pad options do I have?

EBC Red-Stuff or Yellow-Stuff?

Something else altogether?

I used EBC Yellow Stuff with the R56 S brakes(same as GP1 brakes)I had on my R53 as I couldn't like you get 1144's at the time due to availability.
I found the Yellow Stuff to be very good.

Yeah I'll probably go for the Yellow-Stuff ones

I had them on the Cerbera when it was getting plenty of use and they did the job just fine on that

Slightly off topic but I had Carbon Lorraine pads on the Cerbera as well and they were by far the best brake pads I've ever encountered when it came to stopping a car but the pad compound is so hard that it actually causes the brake discs to wear faster than the pads

That was too big a price for me to pay and they were off the car again in a matter of about a month :1icon_eek:

It's hard to work it out on that site.....R56 Cooper S are the same pad so might be easier to find it for that as I found a lot of companies get totally confused ref the Works R53 brakes.
