leaking sunroof

Postby jordanfaf » Tue Feb 17, 2015 2:29 pm

I have a 2006 r53 cooper s with the sunroof option. I left it in to get a clutch change and when I got it back I've had a leaky sunroof. I checked the guttering pipes and they are all connected. The source is coming from under the switch panel for the electric roof. Also I noticed a sloshing noise from the left of the car after raining or washing. Any idea what's going on is it a leak, loose seal or a guttering pipe. Thanks

I would check the drain pipes again , also have a look under the front carpets by pulling up the door seal on the step panel and see if you have water ingress in the footwell . usual culprits are roof drains .check for leaves etc on the scuttle panel under the bonnet .
