I got my ipod classic today, I am in the process of transfering my cd's onto it via itunes. The manual that came with it is only a "quick start" guide, I wish it was more detailed, I figured out the music bit, I would like to add video and other stuff too.

About iPod.. as soon as you've a few albums/cd's on computer, plug in iPod.. then the iPod screen should tell you not to disconnect.. It will then sync your music onto your iPod.... think that's how its done!! My god you'd think I'd know since I have one! Once the sync is complete, then eject the iPod! Think if you're stuck...... go to Apple website and they should have instructions there....... or google it!!

Its easier done, than explained... Sorry!! :)

I must say i'm from the other side.... I've got a Creative Zen 60GB

I find it truely fantastic - Not only do I use it for my music, I also use it as a media duke box for all my Films. Just plug in into any TV and it works a treat!!! All downloaded material at the touch of your hand...

What do the say Alvine, 'Great minds think alike and fools seldom differ'!

The Zen is such a user friendly device. I can't understand why anyone would buy a Ipod over a Zen!

The Zen is like a portable hard drive with multimedia functionally while the I pod is totally limited with its uses! Also you have the whole problem with copyright issues on downloads on the Ipod!

The only down side, none of the docking stations for the ipod are compatable with the Zen and creative only launched one docking station (Z500) and they are as rare as hens teeth

Fantastic taste all right!!!
