Well done to the lads. Grate day out. 24 cars and 112 miles in total (I think). Very nice roads and all on my doorstep. A lot of new faces to-day witch was grate and the good weather toped it off nicely.

P.S. Having lunch on the set of a Hollywood blockbuster with one of the main men was a real treat. Well done again lads.

Hope to see ye all in two weeks time for my run, details will follow in the next week or so (as soon as I get my finger out).

Thanks for the Run John and Richard.. Had a great day out, and the two lads with me had a great introduction to the Mini-scene :D

Well done too to the lads ( and lassies! ) that travelled from neighbouring counties to make the run today, shows great character and commitment to travel long distances to make a run in Cork!! - Im sure all concerned had a great time, and hopefully we will see you back again for future runs!!

Well done to the prizewinners.. although I did have my eye on the toolbox.. alas, i will have to wait for the next run.. unless you want to give it to me Alvie ?? :D

Again, thanks to eveyone for making today a great day out.. It's great to see everyone having a good time, be it the young lads playing hurling in the car park.. or the older lads throwing around a football.. it all counts :D

Well done everyone, and see you on the next run !!

- Mark

I'm gutted I couldn't go to the full event, but I was delighted to have attended the start. I only got to bed after a gig at 5 in the morning the night before, and had to get up at 8 to do various bits n pieces. Thanks to everyone for their kind words about my new car, my head was barely able to get in the door as it had swelled that much.

To all the new members, well done you lot! It was fantastic to see so many new people in their Classics, and in their new MINIs too. And everyone was so enthusiastic. I was particularly impressed by Paul Ryan from Limerick, even starter motor trouble didn't deter him from attending, and making a huge first impression.

And a final thank you must go to both Richard, and John for stellar work! Well done guys!

Thanks for all the kind words about the run, It makes a differance to get the feedback so we can organise to suit all next time. Just for the records the final answer to the movie name which was "Strength and Honour".

It was indeed great to see such a large turn out and especially all those who travelled so far, Paul Ryan and his lovely girl-friend, Oliver and friends from Tipp. Mark and family from Kerry and everyone else who I have forgotten their names. As you know we had planned a visit to the kart-track at the start of the run like last year but dates left us down. However John and I are working on this at present and will include it soon in an upcoming run.

Thank you again to everyone who attended the "Cork 100"

Richard
