Donegal Run – 5th & 6th August 2006 - FINISHED

Ok, as mentioned previously, I’m proposing a run around Donegal on the above date – this is the weekend of the Ballyshannon Folk Festival :o , so there would be plenty of after run action of that nature :p if you wish to avail of same. ;)

Just a few questions to ask, which I’m setting up as a poll on here also regarding should we do a one or a two day run. If a two day run, I can loop back towards Enniskillen on Day two, to suit most of you who will be travelling from up North?

Also, would you prefer to stay in Rossnowlagh as before, or In Ballyshannon, or even Bundoran for nightlife?

Theres a very nice Italian and a Chinese restaurant here in Ballyshannon, so if I can get numbers, I’d be able to make a group booking well in advance. :)

As this is a Bank Holiday weekend here, and there is usually a vast influx of visitors, I’m asking early, as it will be difficult to arrange accommodation as a result if I leave it closer to the time to sort out. :)

Lets hear you, and I'll update this first post with info as we firm up on things...... :)

I've agreed a rate with The Sandhouse Hotel in Rossnowlagh of € 60.00 per person sharing, including breakfast. There is a supplement for sea-view rooms, but I believe you will get them foc due to my supreme negotiating skills !

Quote North West MINIs while booking, if any hassle, refer to Mr. Paul Diver, the Manager, who I agreed the rate with.

Might be wise to book earlier rather than later, as this is a Bank Holiday weekend in the South.

She's on the front of the 'Irish Examiner' today with a Gard. And boy does he look like your stereotypical 'pure tick boyo' Gard. Pam, however, is smokin hot.
