Darth Cooper, Gosia, and I went to The Great Escape last night, and despite being one of the first cars in, we were one of the last to park up due to disorganised kids being at the helm of parking control. The movie started late (Which we guessed would happen, it being the first night), and cut out half way through due to a technical difficulty. Sound was broadcast on FM 104.2, which was cool.
They had only 2 food stalls, a guy selling tatyo crisp size bags of popcorn for 3 Euro, and O'Connaill Chocolatiers. They're the guys who do our Club Chocolate, and when I said we were from the MINI Club, his face lit up, and gave myself and Gosia 2 chocolate
lipops, and wished everyone in the Club well.
They showed some period ads from the 50s including one for Singer Sewing Machines, and one for Chevrolet. Great movie, 12.45 finish, and got out of the car park for 01.30. I'd highly recommend it
