Oh yes Der we did have a blast !!!!!! I also am glad I didn't replace My front tyres before the event as I almost melted them . The track is tight but is suitable for use by Minis and MINIs , I forgot to turn off the asc on one lap and it was boring !! much better to allow it go where you want it to go rather than let a computer tell it where to go .!!

Fab day to-day. Well done John, Richard, and Mick. Very well run event. Everyone had a blast  and I think we will be welcome back there anytime after that VERY generous gesture at the end :!: If anyone wonders where your memberships go :!: 1,000 euros was donated by the club to a very worthwhile charity today. Well done MEMBERS.

Thank You Fergal,

And a Very special thanks to 'CO' ....Richard and Mike O'Shea. who
controlled the event from start to finish in a very professional manor.
My sincere by apologize's to them both, for not mentioning them at the
closing speach, I was some what over whelmed by Davids' speach
at the time that I forgot about them . . again thank you.

Minis on track.

Postby leyland » Wed Mar 05, 2008 1:30 pm

Thanks to all the people who turned up for our track day on Sunday, you were a credit to the club in the way the rules and safety procedures were implemented. Most of the driving that took place was very entertaining to view and the skills of driving the minis was of the highest order. Especially impressed with the younger members of the club. (sparkie 2 spins) Well done to Elma on making the effort and turning up for the event with only a week to the new arrival. (and for winning the egg & spone) We wish you both well. Also was nice to see a few new members on the day. As it turned out we had places for 9 more cars which we can review for the next track day. Special mention to John for his organising skills for this event.
