I did that last year. I was the Californian with the sinus infection. :oops:

I came over in 05 for the MTM run, too. Blew in, blew out, spent a couple of days in Dublin with Rakey, MartinL & Brum.

Next time, I hope to spend two weeks in Ireland, with a car to tour the country in (at a reduced rate of speed, maybe I'll get Starry to loan me his. I need a slow tour.).

This years event will be very suitable for the younger members , We are conscious that these Guys are the future of the Club and they have to be looked after now , so expect some fun and games for everyone especially on the Friday Evening ,

You can just put in an entry as if You are doing the whole Event and just do Day 1 . I do know you will find it difficult to head home though the fun and buzz are amazing , this year we are working a 'theme' where an element of the entertainment will be spread over 3 days in a 'teams ' situation ( more will be revealed soon ) and this will involve some serious fun and games . We always insist people enter the whole event as We couldn't plan for 'numbers' for Hotel / functions / roadbooks / awards / event plates etc etc if We had People just coming and going . I can assure everyone that we will have some 'new' and exciting elements to the programe this year , you won;t want to miss this one and remember the event is open to any Mini / MINI or derivitive from 1959 to 2008 , last years oldest car was 1963 are We going to see older this year or do we just hand over the award to Martin again
