Treasure hunt

Postby Jen » Thu May 01, 2008 10:52 am

Just to let fellow members (with spare time on Sunday) know that the Glanmire Rotary Club in association with Harvey Norman are holding a treasure hunt on Sunday 4 May.

Starts in the car park of Harvey Norman in Eastgate Little Island.

You can register for the treasure hunt anytime from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm.

The treasure hunt takes two hours to complete and there are some great prizes to be won.

I have a flyer in pdf format but don't know how to upload it!

If you eMail me the PDF file (My eMail address is in my profile), I'll upload it for you. The Rotary Club is a very worthy cause, and I have a friend or two in it, so I can highly recommend anything they're organising.

Well that was a good afternoons fun --even though We didn't win , only got lost once or twice , I think Treasure hunts are always a brilliant way to get out and enjoy a bit of friendly rivalry and try to send the 'opposition ' the wrong way , anyway thanks to the organisers and We will be back in greater numbers next year ,

Didn't get the eMail I'm afraid Jen, I was hoping to retrieve it while out and about on the phone, but it never came. I hope you had a few turn up from the Club, and that there was plenty of money raised for the charity!

Hmmm.....if I remember correctly Geraldine....I think myself and Chris were back before you!! But....hey.....winning isn't everything.....it's taking part that matters right?!
Anyway, had a great afternoon!
