Just to answer a few questions about the run on behalf of Alvie, as he's not online until Monday. First of all, it's looking like this is going to be a very successful event, over 20 cars have committed to it, and of course, the more, the merrier. To answer Bawnee's question, no, there's no entry fee for MCOI members and the Club has covered the cost. The Club BBQ will also be present on Sunday, and Chef Extraordinare Alvoi de Kelli will be in attendance serving up all sorts of cullinary delights, according to our super star Chef, those of you with special dietary requirements "... can go **** *** you **********". In other words, bring yer own grub, the rest of us'll be having burgers n sausages.

Here's the important stuff :

Meeting :
09.30, B&Q Car Park, Mahon Point, Sunday morning.

Departing :
Exactly 09.45, in convoy to Tramore Race Course. Anyone arriving after 09.45 will have to play catchup.

Please pass the word to any other MINI or Mini drivers you know in the Club who don't have internet access, and if you see some new drivers around who don't know about the Club, sure invite them anyway!

Look forward to seeing everyone there, and a great day out as usual.

Romour has it the reason Alvin wont be on line until Monday is because he is out watching his chickens laying eggs, I have heard he make egg mayo fit for a king!! :| :?

Anyone who might need coffee, petrol, or a pi*s stop on the way on Sunday, the petrol station on the left as you leave Dungarvan has Mini juice at 127.9c a litre  .

Looking forward to seeing all of you tomorrow!
Will be a slight family affair, my two sisters are coming along with me!
Will be hitting the road around 9, just in case there will be an emergency clean up needed in the Deise!

I need to head into town (Waterford) shortly, can anyone recommend a good car wash where they wash the car for you?

Yes, there was a place on the main quay, if I remember quickly, that used to be a petrol station, then it became a florist (But kept the covering over what used to be a forecourt), and I think it's a car wash now, but I'm not certain of that ...

Under city square - the underground car park, some poles do a wash and valet....

There is a garage on the dunmore road that does a wash/valet too, its just before the hospital....

Thanks Sarah, I enjoyed it too. It was great seeing everyone again after M.T.I. We had by far the best stand there with 24 cars (Not bad considering we only got the call on Monday) A few new members turned up as well and we got plenty of airplay on W.L.R.F.M. I have a few pics.

It was great to see everyone again.
And all the MiNis looked great again all lined up.
Hope everybody got home safely.

The sisters went down to Tramore earlier on, and holed themsleves into a day-spa. They had a longing for candyfloss after that, so we went for a quick walk down the Prom to get some.

The Bronze plaque is up in the living room, and just looks pure mighty!

Oh are there any bronze club yokes left guys?

It was good to see everyone today, just as well the MCOI was there eh? Ger and Alvin fed everyone twice, fair play...

Its good to see that we have a bit of intrest now in Waterford, I saw SUL and his family, and an old work-mate Pat Maher came along with his mini that he has been working on night and day, I think Pat joined up today :D The Deise membership is growing.

Looking forward to the next one.
