Did someone mention cleaning products? Have you sorted a water supply to wash the car when you get there?

Thanks to some hard-working individuals, we have our own stand in the Club Area, so we'll see you there.

I would be surprised if there is not some water somewhere in Silverstone that we can borrow :) I'll probably throw a sponge over the car at the hotel though.

Just realised that the Port Tunnel will be nice and cheap by the time I get to it tonight - hope I don't wake my passengers with the windows and roof open listening to the exhaust.... :1icon_cool: :1bom:

A lot of you on here are probably gone already if not soon. Safe journey, and see you all Friday night.

That's the great Overlord Micheal O'Leary!

I'm having a bag crisis......
The one I'm planning is excatly one quarter of a MINI boot! lol
BUT it is rigid.

So I am planning a soft holdall bag instead, it's just the same size, but is more squishable.

Squishable is just as important as rolling!

Squishable also means more can be fitted in it if you plan on buying some stuff while there :)

Doing OK Derek, we will likely have 3 squishy bags in total and my squishable bag is also around 1/4 to 1/3 of a boot. Cleaning gear is going into door pockets to make room.

I also have squishy bag, and a backpack folded into it for any purchases while there! :) Bag size, em, 1/3 of the boot i'd say, rigid base in it but soft sides! Can't believe we're discussing bag sizes!! LOL! See ya soon! ;)

Just been out to Towcester to jetwash the car. Clean enough... LOL

Looks to be a nice sunny day so far - carpark is full of minis, shaping up to be a cracking first day. :)

Been home about an hour!

Am just pure wrecked!

What a weekend, it was something else! Delighted with my chrome scoop, but am just too wrecked to figure out how to take off the body colour one! So I think I will leave that to the weekend!

Was great to see everyone. Hope you all have a safe trip home!

And thanks a mill again to Adrian for doing chauffeur!

What a weekend. I am soooo glad that I went. And we couldn't have asked for better weather. Thanks must go out to Ger O' Leary and Owen Kelly for organising for MCOI to get a Club Stand.
Thanks to Sarah for driving me to and from airport. Also to Fergal for bringing all the purchases home in his MINI.

I met some Mini legends, even though it was briefly, Paddy Hopkirk, Rauno Aaltonen and Russ Swift.

I was great to meet everybody, whether it be saying hi to old friends, putting faces to names, or meeting new ones.

Happy Birthday Mini.
