Any news on the Irish contingent's plans for MU?

I'm there :$ :king:

Already? Aren't the wee lad and the lady wife going to miss you if you stay until May?

Hi Jim

I am looking for a driving buddy for Mini United in May, we're still waiting on numbers etc, but if you wanna join the run over then the seat is there.

Focusing again on classics, MINI United will not only have classic racing, but a competition for the best classic and also a dedicated parts plaza for classic Minis too :)

Of course! Tiredness can be as bad as Drunken-ness when driving. To combine the two would also not be a good thing...

I know you have been working on R53 for quite a while, but I don't think it qualifies as a "classic" yet Owen... :D

Har har indeed! No, they'll be doing the same competition for the newer cars too thankfully. Doubtful I'll win with some of the very expensive and crazy german cars I've seen recently, but could be fun to enter all the same.

Cool!

Old or new there are going to be some seriously brave and stunning projects on show, and some scarily bad ones too I reckon :)

Can anyone give me an idea of when & where I need to fly in?

I've got to start booking the tickets, as the fares are starting to trend upward.

Hi Jim

I think there may be a few folks heading from Cork and some from Dublin. Dublin for me anyway. As to when we are going over, I would guess leaving on the Thursday so as to not miss anything on the Friday.

Need some input from other such as Ger and Owen, as they are trying to organise stuff for the club that weekend.

Any comments lads?

Rakey's there, I'm there too. Hopefully a few more of you will sign up too?
