I can't wait, either.

I'm definitely coming over for this. I'm hoping to come via Ireland.:D :D :D

Excellent stuff Jim, will be good to see you again mate.

Anyway guys, what is the plan for the trip over, are there many cars going? It'd maybe make sense for us to club together in a few cars I guess to reduce ferry costs etc. I would love to bring my car across as I am sure everyone else wants to as well, but the ferry isn't cheap even with our favorable rates!

Looks like a superb party though, can't come soon enough!

It would be fantastic if as many of us as possible could ferry over with our own cars to create a presence there. We'll be getting favourable rates on ferries, and on our Hotel too, so it shouldn't break the bank, but this is something you definitely shouldn't miss, not all of us will be around for the 100th anniversary ;)

The tradition (Can you call it a tradition of MINI United is only 4 years old?) for MINIs and Minis attending MINI United, is to get some sort of graphics for the doors of their cars that are representative of an owner's club, and the journey made to the event. I asked Jason, our Graphics Design Guru to make such a logo for us, and below is what he came up with. I think it's excellent, and could be used on T Shirts too. Imagine your own car with this printed the full size of your door. Pretty sweet I think!

And here's the concept if someone went crazy and covered their whole car :)

Looks cool - but I'm not driving all the way to Cork before getting on the Ferry just so the sticker is right...... ;)

The stickers can be 'tailored' to suit your departure point I believe Niall.

As Regards accomodation I have 20 rooms reserved in a Hotel just down the road from Silverstone for the Weekend of Mini United , these are available on a 1st come basis so anyone needing one just PM Me for details , rates are also excellent . I think there are only 6 rooms left in My allocation at present .

That would be pretty cool actually - Rolling onto the Ferry "en masse" all stickered up would be great fun! :1icon_cool:

There'd be a nice contrast between the decal and my pasty white ....

:p

Depending on the size of the decal, that is. :p :D :D

Seriously, I'd roll the sucker up & put it on my car at home.
