We aim to please!

Quick update for all those coming. This is what we get there:

Log Cabin Amenities...
• Two bedrooms - one double bed and one bunk bed (2 full size singles)
• Pillows, duvets and duvet covers are provided, however you need to supply your own towels and sheets
• One additional single fold out bed available upon request
• One bathroom - shower, toilet, sink
• Kitchen - kettle, toaster, cooker, oven, fridge/freezer and all dishes, cutlery and utensils
• Living room with large colour TV
• Fully furnished and applianced
• Outdoor area for barbeques, games and relaxing
• Laundry facilities and ample parking

We should probably aim to bring a few supplies for breakfasts and tea/coffee etc, but if needs be we can probably get some stuff in the village too.

Hi all.

Still hope to make this, but got a bit of bad news on Monday. My kitchen was flooded on Sunday night (still out in Greece).
Don't know the true extent of the damage(only bits and pieces - neighbours are being brilliant, but will be living with them for a while when I get back.....)
I will try to make it though, I think I will definately need to be flinging around corners to get over the post-holidays blues, and might need to forget about the troubles on the home front for a few days also.......
Will know more Monday/Tuesday......

That's bad news mate! Hope the damage is not too severe anyway, abut at least you have neighbours to keep you out of the rain for a while.

Would be great if you could make it, will be sure to keep away from whatever corners your are flinging your car into...just in case :)

Right, another update.

We have grown to a fourth cabin now, for the Saturday night only at this stage.

I am being a big girly man and opting for a cabin as well, so I'll be in that one. There is space for a couple more folks in that one too, so we shouldn't be so crowded anyway. If the happy campers are still happy then fair enough, otherwise stick your name down for a dry spot.

Geez I hope the weather is this good next week!!!

Question ... For those that are slumming it in tents , will there be a tap with hose so we can wash etc. Are you going to post up costs etc?

What do you really think you will be slumming it? There is a building with showers and toilets etc as well. Hot water like...

Check here for camping fees mate.

Excellent! :D So do we need to book ahead for camping or will it be OK to just roll up on the day?

Right, spoke to my neighbour last night.....
She said that that the\floors will be upin the kitchen, dining room, living room and hall. Then they will know if the bedrooms are safe (the floors were put down in one continous piece that looked really good!). They up to start taking things up tomorrow (we're back home at midnight) so the place will look a bit fragile I suppose.
So, it will be later in the week if I know I can get away (but I think I will NEED this now!), but firstly will have to figure out the long term plans..... will know more during the week, but hope to see you all at the weekend.

I think once I have rough numbers I can just put us down for however many camp spots as well. You will be one at least Niall. :)

Tent spots are €10 per night. For the cabins it will be €95 per night.
