Hello,

There are a couple of people interested in comming down from Northern Ireland who are on Mini2.

Would have more details on accommodation, etc?

Hi Hugo

That would be excellent mate, would be delighted to have you boys along.

We will be staying in the Hidden Valley Holiday Park in Rathdrum. It's perfectly located for the runs we have planned and is close enough to food and pubs as well. I haven't tested the grub/beer etc yet, but I'm sure we can find something suitable.

Good man Niall, another brave chap!

There may be limited cabin space so depending on numbers, one or two of us may have to brave the outdoors :). I am up for that if anyone else is?

OK, update on the accommodation front.

We have 3 cabins booked, with a possibility of one more, unsure yet. They can house 5 people comfortably and 6 with a bit of extra snuggling :geek:

Cabin 1 is going to Alvin's clan

Cabin 2
Siobhan
Ferg
Me

Cabin 3
Sarah
Derek
Damian
Pat

Cabin 4
Ger
Chris
Sinead
Derek F

Ice Station Zebra
Niall Dundee
Starry
Benny

The fitrst three cabins are ours for the Friday and Saturday night, that is confirmed now.

I am planning on booking us a few tables at a local place in Laragh for lunchtime Saturday, so if you've not been back to me with confirmation by now then do so. Probably be fine, but it can be a busy place as it is next to Glendalough, and the food is really good.

Hi Adrian.. Can't wait for this run.. its the closest one to me and so nice to drive up the Wicklow Hills and less on main roads etc.. Will we be near Avoca? Meeting of the Waters etc? It sounds like we might! Thanks in advance.

Hi Siobhan

We'll be heading down to Kiltegan and then up through Glen of Imal to Blessington, not to Avoca though. Of course there is nothing stopping you guys heading there on the Saturday morning before we head to Laragh at lunchtime. It's only going to be a few minutes drive from Rathdrum where we are staying.

I'll still be cycling round Phoenix Park until the early afternoon so I'll hopefully join you on Saturday evening. We have a couple of teams from work doing the Guinness Charity Triathlon and as I don't swim and hate running I'm on my bike! :D

Adrain,

This sounds like a great run.

It's a hidden treasure up that neck of the woods, some really great roads. I just hope I can keep up with the classic.

It's a bit of a journey from Cork so I also may also be looking at heading up the night before.

Who's responsible for the weather?

Well done on all the good work

Pat
