Some of us on MINI2 have planned run round all the MINI dealers in Northern Ireland.
(It wasn't my idea but I think its a great one)
Its on Monday 29th December 2008 and the plan is to start at 10:00am
We selected this date as the Garages are open and its a Bank Holiday.
The route starting at:
Prentices in Omagh,
Prentices Portadown,
Bavarian Belfast,
Country Garage Kells,
finishing at JKC Coleraine.

Is it a UK Bank holiday or do we have a Bank holiday as well on that day?? I will check it out at work - will confirm as soon as I know whether I can get it off if we're open - plus I've already taken two days in December off for the charity runs but will see what I can do. Fingers crossed it will be ok cos it sounds like an excellent event.

Unfortunately, I'll either still be in Poland, or as Andy said, Dealers will be open, so I could be working too! Would love to go otherwise.

Hope to see some of you there and hopefully there will be some classics, I posted invites up on a few other local Mini/MINI sites.
The miles posted are approx, we will probably travel more.
Cheers

Here is an updated map
It shows just how far Cork is from Omagh
(and I don't think you can drive from Cork to Omagh in such a straight route, unless someone has built a motorway I don't know about
)

Sounds like a good run. I will see closer to the date as funds are tight at the moment.
