Hi all, I was looking at Ferry options and NorfolkLine do Dublin - Liverpool. That cuts down the drive a little. Was onto the company and they are prepared to give us 20% off the brochure price and 10&% off online fares? Might be an option, only downside is.... Ferry is 7 hours ! :1icon_frown:

Most are taking their minis but there would be spare seats available I would think for the run if someone wanted to fly to Leeds bradford which is the nearest airport to Harrogate .

Nicky and I popped out for a reccee again today for the Sunday run :1icon_cool: .............

.................also sorted out a route for a quick blast up to Blakey Ridge on the Saturday. brief plan for the weekend as follows

Friday evening - a get together in a pub in Harrogate after people have eaten, due to likely numbers thought it best we just meet up over drinks and allow a free choice for where and who you eat with...... guidance will be given on where's best in town to eat / budget ,etc.

Saturday either a look round the shops of Harrogate or the "follow the leader" blast to Blakey Ridge - both to be followed by coming along to the Village Feast/Fair. ( the feast will also be an opportunity to help William and I celebrate our birthday :D )

Sunday the Dales Run - consisting of a choice of either "a wet run" or
"a dry run" up to Hawes with a relaxing lunch stop ( with a picnic option ) and a steady return back to Brymor Ice Cream

anyone staying over till Monday will get together on the Sunday evening

more details nearer the time. :)

Hi Derek and Nicki, as I have just started in a new job it is hard to get holidays, so unfortunately I won't be able to make your great run.
Wish you the best of luck with it though and I hope I'll be able to make it next year.
Oliver.

well there will be plenty of time to redrive it as many times as you want :D Buttertubs is much shorter than you think and sometimes you can have other cars in the way :1icon_eek:

the run is going to much more relaxed than previous years so if you find a bit you want to drive again just turn around :1icon_cool:
