Awesome Bawnee, great you will be able to make at least the bulk of the weekend. Hope you can do the Friday as well though, as we want to see as many folk as possible for the launch!

At least you're 2/3 of the way there.

Good luck with the Friday. Would bribing with confectionary work?

I have heard that chocolate body paint can do wonders to change people's mind...although I am not entirely sure why... ;)

Edwina and I were looking to try and make this, but neither of us could get leave from work, so I wasn't sure we were going to make it :1icon_cry:

I'm now reasonably certain we aren't going to make it now as on Saturday afternoon my MINI decided it didn't like sparkplug number 2, so spat it out while I was doing 60 :1icon_eek:

I need the MINI for everyday transport so I'm going to have to throw my £s at it to get it fixed :1icon_pale:

Hope you all have fun and am looking forward to the photos

Hi Andy,
Sorry you won't make it this year , hope your MINI isn't too bad , was it just a stripped plug thread ? any other damage ? , I have a 'new' Cooper S head in the workshop with only delivery mileage as it was removed when new to fit a JCW kit , much more cost effective than a new head from MINI I would think , if it looks like a solution let me know .
