Ok. My update... got the Sat & Sun off.... have note up to try get out of my WAKING night on the Friday night.... Fingers crossed someone will take pity on me!

Update i have been granted A/L for Thurs, Sat & Sun so am having words again! A weekend off needs to include the Friday.... !!! And what's even more frustrating is someone who put in the same time off two months after me has the whole weekend off.... where's fair in that? Anyway, won't bore ye... i'm still not giving up!! Great photos Ferg! Thanks Sarah!

Edwina and I were looking to try and make this, but neither of us could get leave from work, so I wasn't sure we were going to make it

I'm now reasonably certain we aren't going to make it now as on Saturday afternoon my MINI decided it didn't like sparkplug number 2, so spat it out while I was doing 60

I need the MINI for everyday transport so I'm going to have to throw my £s at it to get it fixed

Hi Andy,
Sorry you won't make it this year , hope your MINI isn't too bad , was it just a stripped plug thread any other damage , I have a 'new' Cooper S head in the workshop with only delivery mileage as it was removed when new to fit a JCW kit , much more cost effective than a new head from MINI I would think , if it looks like a solution let me know .
