Sarah's BBQ Run

Postby swampette » Sun Jul 04, 2010 10:56 pm

Hi Guys....
With all this fantastic weather we're having...what better time to have a BBQ event!!
This year's run will take place on Sunday 18th July. We will be meeting at 10am at the B&Q carpark in Mahon Point, departing at 10.30am sharp!!
We will be heading west to take in some lovely coastal roads and beaches, ending up on a quiet beach for our BBQ. I will plan a stop in a supermarket towards the end of the route so that people can pick up a few steaks and burgers for their feast! You will have to bring your own BBQ... I'd suggest the disposable BBQs would be the best and easiest to get going!
We might have some games and activities for the beach after the BBq depending on whether people want to just chill out and get some rays or if they want to run around the beach!
This will be a great day out for people of all ages and we have always been blessed with lovely weather for this event on previous years.... so fingers crossed!!
Hope to see you all there (preferably NOT in your mankini Ger!) and send me a PM or post up here if you have any questions!

Sorry cannot make this run, stuck up in the land of Vikings, hope you all have a good day with new roads, eat lots and get sunburn, but all get home safe. Have fun folks
