Fota House Charity Santa Mini Run

Postby MiniMpi » Mon Nov 29, 2010 11:05 pm

This very worthy Charity event is on again this year.
It is organised by The Cork Hospital's Children's Club.
The dates are Thursday 9th December and Friday 10th December.
What happens is we collect kid's who are in Hospital and bring them down to Fota House for them to meet Santa :)
It is a great fun event and gives so much to the kids.
The Thursday 9th run is from CUH and the Deaf Association and is two runs.
The Friday 10th run is from Mercy Hospital and is one run.
If you can make it again this year or doing it for the first day it would be great.
Sarah is the contact for this on
0867809456
I'll also be sending out a text tomorrow evening.

Hi Guys...
Sorry about the late notice... I only got the dates a few days ago and I have not had access to internet the last few days either so thank you to Ferg for sending the text out and posting this up here.
Paul.... what runs can you do? There will be three separate runs and you are free to leave once the kids have been dropped although... they do put on an excellent breakfast for us so you're welcome to hang around for that!!
If you could let me know which runs you can do here so I can make a list of who's gonna be there!
Cheers
Sarah

Ok Guys... just an update for you - we'll be meeting at the CUH for 8.30am on Thursday morning, 1.40pm at the Cork Deaf Centre Thursday afternoon, and then 8.30am again at the Mercy Hospital on the Friday morning. Please give me a ring or text if you can make it on 0867809456 as I won't be online again until maybe Thursday. Due to the weather I have been staying in the city so have not had access to my computer and I'll be going back up to the city tomorrow afternoon so please ring or send me a text and let me know which runs you can do!

Hi Guys...
I'm only back home again and back to internet...so just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who took part over the two days taking the kids to Fota. I was only able to do the thursday morning due to work but it was well worth the early start and I think everyone really appreciated us making the journey. Thank you so much to all who took part and switched shifts etc to come for the trips.
Thanks again guys,
Sarah
