Thanks Mike!!
If anyone has any questions about the runs- please give me a shout at the number above! There are three runs - Cork University Hospital at 8.20am; Cork Deaf Association, MacCurtain St at 1.30pm on the Thursday 1st of december and the third one is from the Mercy Hospital at 8.20am on the Friday 2nd Dec. The run will involve bringing a child and parent or volunteer in your mini to Fota House. (Although some people in previous years have ended up traveling with Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck!) Once the children have been dropped off, you are free to go although the team provide a full breakfast and lunch for whoever takes part. It's an exciting two days and it is fantastic to see all the childrens' faces on arriving. So if you can help out, please let me know. I understand they are week days so it is difficult for people to be off from work but if you can help out at any of the runs, it will certainly be appreciated as it is an extremely great cause!
Thanks guys and special thanks to all those who have already confirmed with me!
Sarah

Will be heading down from Dublin on Wednesday, can anyone recommend a gentle car wash in Cork, if I pick up some grime on the run down:)

Hiya :)

Delighted you can make it ;)

Right next door to the Cork University Hospital ( CUH) is a fantastic carwash called Mojoe's Coffee House and Harry's Handwash and is a Big Favourite with Miniclub members :)

Well guys! That's it over for another year! We had an amazing turnout over the last two days.... The best we have ever seen at this event! It is a difficult event to plan as I know people work during the week but a huge thank you to everyone who made it and switched hours or got the day off etc! I hope it was worth it and I'm sure it was an eye opener for a lot of us to see how one day out can put a smile of the childrens' faces - a break away from the hospital ward! The charity do amazing work and I'm sure I speak for everyone here, that I am glad to able to be a part of it. We got a great mention on 96fm which was a proud moment for the club and we were also lucky to have a new mini countryman from Kearys (thanks Sean!) Also a super thanks to Gerry for coming all the way down from Dublin to take part (enjoy your adventure up the Healy Pass!) And of course, I couldn't fail to mentionm Chris Blackham and his now infamous stretch limo- thanks Chris - the estates of ballincollig didn't know what hit them! So thanks again everyone and if anyone has some photos or videos , upload them please! Thanks, Sarah
