Apologies, only saw this now.

Looks like a good day, enjoy the drive.

The road from The Vee to Lismore was closed when we were up there last Sunday for ongoing roadworks

I didn't see any signs saying when it would be reopened

Anybody know if the Lismore/Vee road is open?

The road from The Vee down to Cappoquin was open, thats the one we had to take, but the surface is sh!te on it and there's plenty of corners with loose gravel in the middle of them so it made for an interesting spin to say the least.

I was in the Lotus (which actually soaks up the bumps better than the Mini) and it was still a pain in the hole of a road to drive.

The only ones who had no issues were the scoobie with it's 4-WD and a few semi-sensible cars.

I'm not saying to not take that route, just be prepared to be kept to a fairly slow pace along it.

Thanks for info.

Was planning to go via Ballymacarbry around back of Vee.

Will try to avoid it on way home.
